MOTIF 4
Three types of Motif 4 are recognized. The most common type is composed of a right-angle triangle with "fringe" along the hypotenuse. This type appears to derive from Motif 1's right-angle triangles with parallel lines (or wings and/or legs). The second, less common, type of Motif 4 resembles the modified letters E or F. The third, and least common, type consists of a right triangle with "fringe" perpendicular to one side.
