MOTIF 7

Motif 7 is characterized by paint-filled triangles.  These are usually arrayed along the base line of a stepped polygon, or the framing line of a rectangle.  The triangles range from purely geometric to subtriangular with rounded corners; they are occasionally interspersed with line of varying thickness ("bristles").  Among the smaller artifacts in this motif, an undeterminable number of sherds are probably fragments of other motifs, especially Motifs 1, 2 or 3.
